The question is no longer simply Can we reach young women? We have evidence that we can. The next question is, Can we help them cross the distance between training and opportunity?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That means continuing to strengthen;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TVET INSTITUTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So they can deliver relevant, inclusive and safe training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>INSTRUCTORS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So they can teach for competence and changing markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>YOUNG WOMEN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So they gain technical, entrepreneurial, digital and work-readiness skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>COMMUNITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So families and gatekeepers support participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>INDUSTRY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So training is connected to real workplace expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MARKETS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So products and skills have somewhere to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PARTNERS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So resources, knowledge and influence work together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SIYEP&#8217;s programme goal is ambitious, equip 258,000 young women in Uganda with market-relevant technical, vocational, soft and entrepreneurship skills, with the wider objective of supporting access to work and decent, fulfilling employment by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That ambition cannot be achieved by one organisation.
