SIYEP SKILLS COMPETITIONS

Program Introduction

The Tropical Institute of Development Innovations (TRIDI) invites young women to join our transformative vocational training program under the Sustainable Inclusive Youth
Employment Pathways (SIYEP) initiative.
In partnership with Mastercard Foundation & Agency For Accelerated Regional Development (AFARD), TRIDI will be working with 23 TVET institutions to offer market relevant skills, vocational, entrepreneurial, and soft skills to the young women, aiming to transition them into dignified and fulfilling employment.

Participants will engage in hands-on training, develop marketable products, and compete in institutional, regional, and national skills competitions. The program includes digital skills training, business incubation support, mentorship, and access to seed capital opportunities. We particularly welcome young women with disabilities and those from rural communities, providing inclusive facilities and specialized support.
