National Certificate in Applied Chemistry (NCAC)

Applied Chemistry

Description

The National Certificate in Applied Chemistry (NCAC) program is designed to produce skilled professionals who are well-versed in the practical applications of chemistry. The course focuses on equipping students with theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to excel in various chemical industries and research fields. The curriculum is learner-centered, competence-based, and emphasizes practical learning through projects and industrial training.

Course Structure and Modules

The NCAC program is divided into six core modules along with supplementary support modules. Students can focus on specific modules based on their desired competencies. Certificates are awarded for each core module successfully completed. Examinations are conducted in November/December, May/June, and July/August as determined by UBTEB.
