The research garden at Tridi backyard has 82 different varieties of sorghum which suites different weather conditions throughout the year that have been planted used for study
Mr.Emma Walibwa. Says, the experiment garden is established in soil bags cut out in halves of a 50kg empty cement bag which represents plots running horizontally from north to south
He adds, that, our target is to establish the viability of the different sorghum varieties and their germinability, the morphological difference and similarities, the growth rates and the yield per variety
Institute has different skills in courses like Applied chemistry, ICT, Journalism, Engineering and mechanic and Sericulture
Tridi is an agro-based institute focusing on agri-business, research, skills development and creation of job opportunities.
