A training certificate may open a door. But what happens after the door opens?
This quarter, TRIDI’s work under SIYEP focused increasingly on what comes next. 607 young women were reached during the June rollout across eight TVET institutions, 504 young women were profiled/enrolled during that June rollout. 161 tutors were trained during the June rollout. 215 young women were profiled/enrolled at Kalongo Technical Institute and Kilak Corner Technical Institute in July, 113 young women profiled/enrolled at NUYDC, 39 young women profiled/enrolled at Amelo Technical Institute, 242 young women profiled/enrolled at Bulemeezi Skills and Talent Development Centre and 23 TVET institutions are part of TRIDI’s wider SIYEP skills competition and skilling model.
